Odella Anna Murray of Lakewood, NJ was born to the late Marshall and Emma Griffin on June 3, 1937 in Ridgely, Maryland.
She graduated from Lockerman High in Denton, MD and was a retired Senior Library Assistant of Ocean County Library.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed keeping up with current events. She was always willing to help and was a mother figure to many in the community.

She is preceded in death by one daughter, Lesley La’Rue Murray, one grandson, David Hubbard
She is survived by four children: Rondell (Daisy) Murray , Bryan Murray, Robert Murray and Tyree Murray all of Lakewood, NJ. Two brothers; Gerald (Edna) Griffin of Baltimore, MD, Vernon Perkins of Woodbury, NJ, one sister, Hollisweus Perkins of Wilmington, DE. She also leaves her grandchildren including Val, Muszak, Jasmine, Shantale, Tyra, Tyasia, Robert, Tyree, and Robyn, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
